چکیده
Abstract Aim This systematic review aims to understand the relationship between version abnormalities of femur and acetabulum in patients with primary secondary femoroacetabular impingement (FAI). Method A was conducted according PRISMA guidelines. computer-based search performed using EMBASE, MEDLINE, PubMed Cochrane databases for articles relating torsional FAI, Legg-Calve-Perthes disease (LCPD) slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE). The study registered Open Science Framework. Two authors independently title/abstract full text screening predetermined inclusion criteria. Results total 1206 were identified 55 articles, involving 10, 091 hips, met All studies evaluating femoral/acetabular FAI reported ‘normal’ mean values (10o 25o). However, distribution analysis revealed that an estimated 31.4% 51.3% displayed abnormal acetabular version, respectively. Abnormal 74.5% hips LCPD, 20%. Acetabular significantly lower SCFE compared controls (Z=-3.26, P < 0.01). Conclusions Patients presenting hip pain attributed are likely display abnormality or version. highlights importance these parameters during assessment patients, order guide clinical decision making.
